The 58th Floor trend comes from Anderson .Paak and Cordae's performance of their song "58th Floor" for COLORS, posted on October 30, 2026. In a bare teal room with one microphone hanging from the ceiling, .Paak raps the hook while Cordae nods along, then the two turn to face each other and Cordae takes the verse. The AI version keeps that room, the mic and the camera cuts, and puts two people from uploaded photos in the two spots.

The song, the session and the two spots people put themselves into.
- Song
- "58th Floor" by Anderson .Paak and Cordae
- The opening track of Heavy Is the Crown, the album the two released together on October 23, 2026.
- Session
- 58th Floor – A COLORS SHOW
- Posted by COLORS on October 30, 2026. COLORS films one act at a time in an empty room painted a single color; this one is teal.
- The room
- Teal walls, one hanging mic
- There is nothing else in the shot: no band, no stand, just a vintage silver microphone on a long black cable between the two of them.
- The two spots
- The hook and the verse
- .Paak opens with the hook and then dances along. Cordae waits, turns in and raps his verse straight at him. The AI versions keep both spots, so it is made for two people.

Where the 58th Floor trend came from
It started as a music release, not a meme. Anderson .Paak and Cordae put out Heavy Is the Crown on October 23, 2026, with "58th Floor" as the first track. A week later COLORS posted their performance of it, and searches for "58th floor" on Google climbed to their highest point the next day, October 31. Most of what people search alongside it is the COLORS session itself, the lyrics and the two artists.
What made it travel is how the two share one microphone. One raps to the camera, the other stands there nodding with his mouth shut, and then he turns and delivers his verse at point-blank range while the first one grins. That shape is easy to cast: one spot for you, one for the friend who always has a comeback.
The AI version came quickly because the format was already familiar. A month earlier the Hotel Lobby clip, Quavo and Takeoff at a hanging mic in an orange COLORS room, had gone the same way, so the tools and templates for putting two people into a COLORS scene already existed. By November 4, Google's first page for "58th floor ai video generator" already listed several AI pages built for this clip, while searches for the AI version itself were only starting to show up.

The 58th Floor clip, shot by shot
The AI version on this site runs 15 seconds in four camera setups. This is what happens in each one, and which role is on screen.
- 0–5.5 s
- Waist-up two-shot: the hook
- Raps first raps the hook toward the camera while Takes the verse stands beside them, nodding along with mouth closed. At about 3.5 s, Takes the verse turns to face Raps first, and at about 5 s starts the verse.
- 5.5–8.7 s
- Close-up at the mic: the verse
- The camera moves in on Takes the verse rapping into the hanging microphone. This is the shot where that face fills the screen, so it is the spot for whoever has the sharpest photo.
- 8.7–11.5 s
- Wide shot on the platform
- Both full-body on a low teal platform. Takes the verse keeps going while Raps first dances and nods along like it is the best line of the night.
- 11.5–15 s
- Low two-shot: the finish
- A low angle on the two of them together at the mic to close the clip, with the song still playing underneath.
58th Floor vs Hotel Lobby
Both are COLORS sessions with two rappers and one hanging mic, and both turned into AI trends where you put yourself and a friend in the room. What changes is the song, the color and how the two share the mic.

58th Floor trend questions
COLORS posted Anderson .Paak and Cordae's "58th Floor" session on October 30, 2026, a week after the song came out on their album Heavy Is the Crown. Google searches for "58th floor" peaked the next day, and AI versions with two people from photos followed in the first days of November.
Anderson .Paak and Cordae, in their A COLORS SHOW session. .Paak opens with the hook and Cordae takes the verse at the hanging mic. In the AI version, Raps first is .Paak's spot and Takes the verse is Cordae's.
No, but it follows the same idea. Hotel Lobby is Quavo and Takeoff in an orange COLORS room; 58th Floor is Anderson .Paak and Cordae in a teal one. Both have two rappers and one hanging microphone, which is why people make AI versions of both with a friend.
No. The clip on this site is an AI version of the scene with two stand-in performers, and your photos go into that. It has the teal room, the hanging mic, the four camera setups and the song underneath, but it is not the COLORS recording.
Because the joke is the hand-off. One person carries the hook while the other waits, then the second turns in and raps right at the first. With one person there is nobody to hand the verse to.
No. This site doesn't publish the lyrics. The song is on Heavy Is the Crown, and the full performance is on the COLORS channels.
No. 58th Floor AI Video is an independent AI video tool. It is not affiliated with COLORS, Anderson .Paak or Cordae.
